Donated funds are used to provide financial assistance for veterinary care in cases that meet our foundation's guidelines.

Urgent & Sick Care

Funds may help with unexpected illnesses, injuries, and other urgent veterinary needs where timely treatment is important to a pet's health and well-being.

A Favorable Prognosis

We prioritize cases where veterinary treatment has a reasonable expectation of providing a positive outcome and improving or maintaining the pet's quality of life.

Genuine Financial Hardship

Assistance is intended for families experiencing a significant financial hardship that prevents them from reasonably affording the recommended care.

As part of the process, families are expected to explore available payment or financing options. Financial assistance from Bridge to Care is intended for circumstances where those options are unavailable or the family has been declined for financing.
